Cascaplex is a liquid coating application, developed to be used on parts that cannot be reached with conventional thermal spray processes. Once cured in an oven, Cascaplex creates wear and corrosion resistance properties on a variety of surfaces.
This process can be applied mainly in valves, centrifugal pumps, wear sleeves, radiant tubes, high pressure pistons, pulleys, among others.
Cascaplex is a coating formed by a thermochemical process and composed of polyceramic microparticles (<2μm), crystallographically adhered to the substrate, producing an extremely dense layer, free of pores and with a hardness greater than 1,800 HV. This type of coating helps with wear and corrosion resistance superior to any other ceramic layer obtained by the thermal spray process.
This coating resists most acidic and alkaline environments, as well as solvents and saline water.
