Power generation equipment are machines that have advanced technology. They demand highly reliable specialized technical staff, because they are the most critical equipment in the plant.
As an example, in thermoelectric plants we find machines such as steam or gas turbines that require labor support and preventive stops every 25,000 to 32,000 hours, coatings to increase compressor efficiency, thermal barriers for gas turbines among others.
We have experienced engineers in maintenance of heavy-duty turbines as well as aeroderivative where they can carry out and/or conduct maintenance services.

Components that need to increase their efficiency or that are subject to aggressive environments have their useful life extended by the Cascadura group’s coating applications, making it possible to withstand high pressure and temperature environments. For gas turbines, we provide state-of-the-art coating technology that is recognized and performed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), both on compressors, and on the turbines. We aim to increase the efficiency of the turbine compressor by up to 7% by reducing the drag coefficient caused by the air passing through its blades and rotor.

- Slurry coating to reduce the air drag coefficient:
- On the compressor vanes – on the compressor rotors
- On the inner compressor housing
- Laser cladding coating on the bearing necks.
